Our Polish Lowland Sheepdogs are naturally raised in our home nestled in the South Hills of Western Pennsylvania.  Here at Shaggy Chic health is paramount!  It is the foundation from which all else is derived.   We are committed to the improvement of this wonderful breed and strive to accurately represent the PON standard in our breeding.

 PONs aren't for everyone.  They may look cute and cuddly, but hidden under all of that hair is the mind of a con-artist!  They need the guidance of a strong leader.  One that will teach them proper PON etiquette.  Trust me you don't want a PON teaching you the proper way to steal socks!  Stealing your heart is the only crime that is permitted!  They are definite clowns and it is their daily job to make you laugh and smile!  They enjoy smiling too!!!  No unhappy humans in our house!  Besides being entertaining, PONs guard and herd.  They will alert you to any strangers approaching the premises, squirrels and chipmunks included.  No one walks into our house unannounced!  And it's always fascinating to watch just how easily they can herd the nieces and nephews into one place.  They have to make sure they're safe!

Our PONs are fed raw following a prey model diet.  Diet is the key to health.  We treat our four legged, as well as two legged family members homeopathically for any illnesses that may arise.  We make it our practice not to use harmful toxic chemicals on or around our dogs.  We actively show our PONs, but they are first and foremost members of our family!
